been lost or destroyed The Sales Invoices Sales Invoices – These invoices date from
1936 to 1981 and record factory sales of firearms and signal pistols both

book or a copy of a Webley & Scott invoice. You will not be charged if

Base Much work has already been done coping
information of sales, repairs and secondary sales onto a Data Base. Firearms covered by this Data Base are:- The Marks Series (I – VI & WS) Very little is recorded pre-1900. Data
mostly covers periods of the Great War and inter-war years; it includes WS
Army & Target revolvers and Wilkinson sales. The Wilkinson Sword Gun Book
for 1905-1921 is missing which means that it is not possible to discover the
name of the person to whom Wilkinson Sword sold their revolvers. Enquiries
for military contract service revolvers are not recommended, as information
is very limited. Kaufmann/WG The records are particularly strong for
these revolvers. Most sales or subsequent repairs are recorded including
secondary sales by Army & Navy Fosbery The records are particularly strong for
these revolvers. Most sales or subsequent repairs are recorded including
secondary sales by Army & Navy Work is continuing on the Automatics and
Solid Frame types. It should be stressed, not all serial numbers are recorded.

purchaser’s name or the name on the invoice; date of invoice; type of invoice

on the invoice i.e. calibre/barrel length/ finish/ grips (WG only) and if the
revolver was purchased by Army & Navy A fee of £16.00 including EU postage (other
